Heap is an online resource of detailed drawings and 3D models for garden & landscape professionals. Alongside 100’s of ready made drawings we can also create all of the construction details you need. If it’s not in the library, we will create it.
Our Approach
Heap has evolved from requests for individual construction details to the detailing of entire residential and commercial projects.
Heap is an expanding and evolving resource created by Paul Hensey and the team, based on years of detailing of landscape and garden projects.
Based in West Sussex, Paul is the Principal of a successful Landscape and Garden Design Consultancy. Describing himself as more of a Landscape Engineer, principally assisting Garden Designers, Landscape Architects and contractors with the construction and detailing to help realise their visions. His own design work has won numerous awards, included RHS gold medals, best in show and “Most Innovative’ awards at Chelsea, Tatton, Hampton Court Flower Shows and the Garden World Cup in Japan. Paul lectures on construction detailing and materials and is the author of several books.
A Fellow of the Society of Garden Designers & a previous Vice Chair, Member Chartered Institute Horticulture & Member Garden Media Guild, his early career as an Industrial Design Engineer, provided early exposure to 3D cad. Paul is now a coach in all things SketchUp and has been appointed by SketchUp-Trimble as a member of the International Visiting Professionals Programme to support Landscape and Garden designers.
